A bench seat in an old Ford truck. How many of us Gen Xers recall that in our childhood?

and because Jim had to waste my damn time annoying me and challenging my assertion, and then not doing a moment of his own looking instead of pushing my buttons, here is an example of the Ford F100 wrap around windshield.

Now, next time, before you talk nonsense about how I'm wrong, though I often am, LOOK!

Just because it doesn't have the extensive dog leg, doesn't mean it's not a wrap around. It's more than a flat plane slightly curved windshield

  1. Umm, I think that might be a bench seat in an old Chebby truck. Ya, I'm that old.

  2. Umm, it's not important and I love this place so wouldn't make you mad for the world, but '66 Fords didn't have a wrap-around windshield. It's a '60 -'63 Chev I think.

    1. did you click the link? Did you then find the photo, and read what they wrote with it... which is why I am simply not arguing, just telling you, that's what the source said. Take it up with them, that's why I nearly always include the link to the source.

    3. THERE. Point proven. You owe me 5 dollars per the rule https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2019/08/rant-part-2-carry-over-from-yesterdays.html for a Frappachino at Starbucks

  3. Jesse, I tried but the link must be incomplete. It only takes me to tumblr, not to the guys page. I tried again adding .html at the end but that wasn't it either. No worries.

  4. funny how it works for me, and furthermore, did you even bother looking up a 66 F100? Yeah, you didn't, but instead pushed my buttons. It's got a wrap around windshield.
Next time don't try to prove me wrong... are are you unaware that I find it annoying, ESPECIALLY when the attempt is wasting my time, and instead YOU ARE WRONG.... and wasting my time.
Now cut that out, as Jack Benny would often say

OK, pushing your buttons is kinda fun. Obviously wasn't your mistake.

    1. Well, now you're talking sense. Again, like I said, I don't invent the stuff I post. I don't take all the photos, I don't author all the articles, I don't come up with every make and model. I get the info from a source, and I link to it, and if that don't flip your skirt, go look at some other website to bother. I ain't got time for people to waste with telling me I"m wrong about stuff. No shit sherlock, I'm often wrong, but not proving it, and instead half assing the assertion with a "Fords didn't have wrap around windshields" when they sure as hell did and you'd have seen that by looking before claiming something like that

  6. See the pointy at the top wind wing on the '66 Ford? Now see the pointy at the bottom wind wing in the original picture? See anything wrong with believing everything everybody says on the internet?

    1. you should have led with the wing, instead, you put your foot in it with the no wrap around windshield "'66 Fords didn't have a wrap-around windshield.""
So, you owe me a Frappachino from starbucks! That's the rule, https://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2019/08/rant-part-2-carry-over-from-yesterdays.html

  7. For us old guys, a wrap around windshield were the ones with the dog leg that you bust your knees on like a '59 Ford, '57 T-Bird, '58 Buick et al. Chevy continued those on the pickups until '63. Ford was done with that nonsense by '60. Semantics. I'd love to buy you a frap . . . in person. But that would mean I'd have to come to California.

  8. I love bench seats. My dad's 1979 Ford F-4000 is of course a bench seat, and it was enough for me, mom, dad and two brothers in the 80s.

Also my Opala is a bench seat and I will never replace it.
