the car had been rolled down the hill from the house and garage when the 1990 fires swept through, and spent the last 17 years sitting here, sinking in, and being used by the neighborhood kids as a supply of glass to shoot out with their bb guns
the hemi was in the garage at the time, but survived and was still in good enough condition to be rebuilt... the valve covers and air filter housing were in the trunk all these years
because it was parked in California, it survived nearly 4 decades without much rusting
