Thanks! now if someone would quit bidding against me on the frist guitar I've ever wanted to buy, I'd be a happy camper. A 1960s Kawaii model F611 is at a local estate sale auction companies website, and it's one you can go look over the merch before bidding on... so, I looked, and it's never been used. No scratches, no dings, nada. I've wanted a guitar for 40 years, and damn it, this really is a nice beginners guitar to start with. If these other yabos would leave it the hell alone yesterday at this time of day, it was only 75 bucks, now the last two a holes have bid it up to 130. I think I ought to max out around 200... but, damn, do I let it go, for under 300, as nice, and new in box, NOS, etc as it is that I'll never come across again? Man, the little shit that stresses me out.
I'd say go for it Jesse. I see your heart is into it, and I'd love to see you win the bid. Maybe share a picture of it should you be successful. Good luck my friend.
Oh Noes, now you'll dump us for fame and fortune, and/or you'll have the nubile young ladies beating a path to your door and you'll never get anything done.
Can you get me a backstage pass... or an extra nubile? ;o)
well, fame isn't likely to happen, nor fortune. As for young ladies? I have a better chance winning the lotto. But sure, you get a backstage pass and if there are any extra young ladies who want to hang out with other old men, I'll point them your way! That's the best I can do I think, but, don't wait for this hypothetical day to ever occur when I'm rich, famous, or have young women wanting anything to do with us. They are pretty sharp like that, they don't want old anything, unless it's old money, and there is a lot of competition between the many old men with a lot of money, and the few young women who'll try to get it
Ineradicable, simply incredible. You're just a juggernaut Jesse.
