Sold new to England where it likely received this striking body but has spent most of its existence in South Africa.
It was purchased by the family that still owns it today in 1956 for 1,200 Pounds Sterling. (The purchase of this car at that time made the news - the headline in the local paper read "MADMAN Pays £1,200 for Old Car!")
