1910 photo of cars vs horse drawn freight wagon in Canada... looks like the wagon driver couldn't make the wagon get through the turn with the cars blocking his wide swing area... like a semi, it's not meant to turn sharp

the horses at the front of a team of 4 or 6 horses were a long way in front, and needed all that area to swing the wagon around a corner
