So I spotted this in the background of a video, and I figure, hey, I should check that out. Probably a cool story why there is a big ol WW2 era looking airplane engine on display - without a plane or wing.
It's easy to see it's in the Flat 12 Gallery showroom, that they had in Lubbock Texas... but no amount of Google Fu was getting me anywhere close to getting a better look, or info, about it, for an hour.
That's a lot of wasted time.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking S-2 but a C-1 is more likely. It's the port nacelle, the stub of the wing is the hinge point.
