Blam emailed me to fill me in on what's going on in this photo:

This was Interstate 90, crossing Lake Washington between Seattle and Mercer Island. 

Part of this bridge sank during a storm around 1990.

There are now 2 bridges in this location. They both float, as did the original bridge that sank.
