Because they forgot why police cars are supposed to be seen and noticed... these are known as ghost units. Makes no sense to me. They're probably embarrassed to be cops, or scared to be recognized

I posted a white cop car with silver decals before, I just can't find it among the nearly 30000 posts... so, time to post a new example.

Thanks Andy

Thanks Slow Walker!

and look at this bullshit:

Campus Cops? What, did they lose a bet and get a promotion from mall cop? OR did they have the half baked idea no one could recognize the cop suv from the all black tinted window and cheap rims?

  2. In the Virgin Islands when they put '911' on the police cars everyone thought they were Porsches.

  3. They claim it's all about public safety to have unmarked units, we all know it's for entrapment and revenue enhancement. We have several in my town although I will give credit to one cop that sits with the marker lights on to give people a chance the rest are exactly what you're talking about.

  4. It's not because they are embarrassed or scared, it's to catch the people who drive like idiots and endanger innocent motorists. Blending in with traffic makes it easier to catch these fools because they aren't going to behave like an idiot near a marked car.

    1. so, they can not do that in a regular cop car? really? sure about that? seems like 100 years of cop cars were just going about it all wrong, all around the world then, and we can ignore the results because you're sure that police in marked cars with lightbars can not catch the people who drive like idiots. OR it's possible that the immense amount of evidence contrary to your notion indicates you do not have the correct idea.
But how would I know, I only drove cop cars for 3 years, I must have missed your theory being taught, when I heard the instructor in the police academy tell it straight, that police are in uniform, and the vehicles are marked and visibly easy to recognize for the purpose of deterrence and public notice that tax dollars are at work.
Then again, you're anon. Not much to believe was ever said by anon
