That was called a Jeep Surrey, built on the 2 wheel drive DJ-3A chassis that was built for the post office. Only about 1,100 Surrey models built.

Yes, I was going through the archives for the blue one when you commented, as it's a good bookend, and demonstrates that a better choice of color was out there.
DeleteThere was a green one too. You used to be able to rent these in Hawaii when I first went there in 1966!
