Back in the day, my buddies and I would look through the J.C. Whitney catalog, just to find stupid stuff like this and get a good laugh. Some of my favorites were dummy CB antennas and dummy car phone antennas. They also sold "Winky the White Cat", which was a white stuffed cat that would sit in the rear window of a car. Its left and right eyes would flash with the cars turn signals, and both eyes would light up when the brakes were applied. With the introduction of high mounted rear stop lights in the 1990's, Winky was actually years ahead of his time. This is just scratching the surface of all the dumb accessories offered by J.C. Whitney over the years.
