http://www.speedhunters.com/tag/project-yankee/ has the full articles on it's build. As to everyone who commented about my being clueless... ummm, Yes. I had no damn idea, and that is because while I have a full time 40 hour a week job, I also have not much time to keep up with every other website on the internet. Speedhunters is a damn good website, and I dig it, just not very often because I've got this problem with adding content to my own site.
Which brings me to the comment about how they wanted to do a big reveal... and how I shouldn't have posted this.
If that were the important to Speedhunters, they should have had a car cover on it, or a sign saying don't take photos... It's that easy to keep people from spoiling the surprise, which, there really is no surprise to spoil anyhow - http://www.speedhunters.com/tag/project-yankee/ shows you exactly what the car looks like. Minus what the final overall view is, as you can see the color of the wrap, the trunk spoiler, etc.
Oh, and the license plate from Japan really fooled me. Why wouldn't it?
That's Project Yankee from Speedhunters. http://www.speedhunters.com/tag/project-yankee/
ReplyDeletethanks! I didn't know. I did see the speedhunters sticker on the front though
Delete"a Duster brought over from Japan?" You've obviously never heard of Speedhunters...
ReplyDeleteHas a Japanese license plate on it, now doesn't it! So... until I'm gifted with a case of Know-It-All I'll just have to keep going by the clues I see

ReplyDeleteIt's very much a california car, just built in a Japanese style and the builder would like to be the one to reveal it
With a Japanese license plate. And they ought to have put up a sign, or left it under a car cover
DeleteAnd Hot Rod beat me to posting photos of it. So... not like Speedhunters let ANYONE know http://www.hotrod.com/articles/sneak-peek-mopar-gallery-sema/?wc_mid=4035:3986&wc_rid=4035:162670&_wcsid=E78D1541CFA240A19C4020E285DD943FD5F04EF2479C1BBF#001-1971-plymouth-cuda-orange-jpg
DeleteI don't really care about whether you posted before speedhunters revealed the car. More importantly, it's not a Duster - a self proclaimed "Mopar guy" should have known this. (The big "Dodge" script on the chin spoiler wasn't a hint?)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I made a mistake because I'm in a hurry and have had very little sleep... here's a cookie
