In 1973 London, a playwright develops an unlikely friendship with Miss Shepherd (Maggie Smith), a homeless woman who lives in a van in his driveway for the next 15 years.
Maggie is a joy to watch, though much more so when she isn't portraying a woman in distress. This is a great story though, and I liked the way they took a few liberties with the ending most of all.
Hi Jesse,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a film to watch, refreshingly not sugar coated. Worth mentioning that it's based on a true story.
