A vintage diner on Route 1 in Lawrence, New Jersey, that has sat unused for more than 25 years is free for the taking for anyone who is willing to haul it away as the area is prepared for retail development.

    It will be indeed sad if this diner fall victim to the retailers wrecking crew. I do hope some one saves this little bit of Americana.
