By heart, I can tell you the production numbers....2188 for 1978, and 5118 in 1979.
For many years, between me and my Dad, we owned (3) of the 1978's (at the same time). A/C was a rare option.....and neither of ours had A/C. During the warm summer months, you'd think you would go deaf while taking road trips. The stock 360 sounded GREAT out the pipes, but boy did it get old. LOL
