some times it's uncommonly hard to deal with people that have no clue at all.. like the guy that asked me to tell him about the hood ornament photo he sent me. Yes, really
Sorta ridiculous how people can be so damn isolated from all the motorcycles and stuff in the world and not recognize this when they see that shield
I want to buy you a beer, yes really. Right after a beer, you would instantly look at this again, and say. Oh damn, that is a Harley Davidson thing, I see the shield on the bottom. Now, this might be for a fender, or a gas tank, and I don't know or care... but... that little Harley emblem on the bottom is what you missed
Honestly, if NOT for the Harley badge, I would have had no clue what that things was. I've never been into motorcycles, so it's nothing I'm familiar with.
The closest I've been to a motorcycle is watching American Chopper on TV. LOL
Trying to embarrass me? 60 yrs and certified mechanic...no idea what that's from.

Deletebecause you and I and most people immediately are on the notion that it's from a car... we instantly forget about motorbikes
DeleteOh yea, can't not see it now.

It's a cover for the rear axle nut and part of the swing arm on a softail Harley
