Tony Bartone smashed records at the 2015 Bakersfield March Meet at Fomoso

The Top Fuel class was left spinning in the vortex created by Tony Bartone in 2014 when he swept the Heritage series. Every round of qualifying and every race, Bartone dominated with MPH and low ET.

As qualifying got underway on this year, the Bartone Brothers juggernaut picked up right where they left off in the 2014 season, qualifying number 1 with a 5.573 @241.32 mph.

Then, pay close attention to this, Tony and tuner Steve Boggs had the first perfect undefeated season in a top fuel drag racing nationwide series in the 64 year history of drag racing.

5 meets, 20 rounds, 0 losses

He bagged both low et, and top speed for the meet

In 1976 Don Prudhomme's Monza was one final round away from this accomplishment by the way.

Steve Boggs is one of the greatest tuners in alcohol dragsters,  both blown and injected nitro combinations in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car as a tuner for hire. He is best known for his work with Tony Bartone, whom he has tuned to 40 of his 41 national event wins, but the Ohio native has scored championships with three drivers in two categories and acquired 54 wins.
