Michigan highway I-94 near Kalamazoo has about 200 vehicles all piled up, and a bystander with a cell phone filmed semi after semi plowing into the pile, car after car slamming into the semis

Post by ABC7.

A Canadian trucker was killed - and at least twenty three others were hurt in the fiery pile up. The chain reaction crash blamed on snow, wind and low visibility. Michigan State Police closed the freeway - to clear away the charred debris.

  1. One of the semis had a load of fireworks that was exploding and firing off after it caught on fire.

  2. Instead of sitting there filming it, why the hell didn't he go up the road a little bit and try and wave people down??!?!

    1. interesting situation ethics question. Why do news reporters stand around and run commentary on camera to the tv station instead of interfering in the issue they are reporting on in order to prevent people from getting hurt? Oh, or maybe he realized they couldn't see a damn thing especially a small guy waving his arms in a snowfall.... since they couldn't see a two hundred car pile up, they wouldn't be able to see him. That's maybe why this guy didn't run up the road and get hit by the cars that were going so fast in the snowstorm that they ran into SEMI TRUCKS! He was safely on the far side of the other side of the road... smart. Hell, I bet most people would stay the hell back and get it on camera... some would run up and get people out of cars, some would be on the phone calling 911. I'll just be glad someone got this recorded, except for fake Hollywood car crashes, this is the most astonishing semi truck crashing video I've seen.
