Your blog is a must-read for me. I can identify several of the concept cars in your January 17 post:
ReplyDeleteThe 1951 Buick was designated XP-300.
The 1954 Packard was a Panther Datona (Roadster).
There were three other 1954 Packard Panthers, differing mainly in paint treatment, but in other details as well.
I don't recognize the purple 1954 roadster; it looks like it would've been a Ghia design for Chrysler.
The unnamed vehicle being unloaded from a GM van is a 1954 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
The 1954 Mercury is a Monterey XM-800.
The red convertible is a 1957 Chrysler Ghia Diablo (I've seen two photos of an almost identical two-tone hardtop labeled a 1956 or 1957 Dodge Dart).
The bronze Ferrari also looks like a Ghia design, but I can't identify it.
The cherry-red two-door is a 1954 DeSoto Adventurer.
The Veedol concept never existed in the real world AFAIK.
