The retro-coupe features power-operated sport buckets with lumbar support, ice-cold air conditioning, six airbags and a full factory warranty. It also comes with a new fuel-injected 5.0-liter with 420 horsepower.
something to like about the Retro Built that the originals didn't have? Airbags, cupholders, and awesome stereos
Retrobuilt's 1969 Fastback is one slick, no-compromise muscle car. Its fit and finish appeared top-notch, and everything on the vehicle passed close scrutiny (especially to the countless onlookers in the parking lot who were magnetically drawn to the Fastback when we stopped to chat). In terms of pricing, the full Retrobuilt treatment costs about $30,000 above and beyond the price of the donor vehicle – a figure much easier to swallow if you consider the work involved. above 2 composite images and paragraphs from http://www.autoblog.com/2012/11/30/retrobuilt-1969-mustang-fastback-first-drive-review/
http://www.retrobuilt.com/ is their website. You won't learn everything on their site, some things I picked up from talking to the guys is that occasionally they get lucky when finding source material cars... you know, the new car under the cool exterior. Hail damaged cars are perfect to start with. New on the dealership lots, but unsellable by factory delaerships. However, all the hail damage is only to the new car design you don't like anyway!
