I must apologize, I don't recognize the name, or how that connects to this Kurtis racer Parnelli drove. Was your grandafther the man that was Hollywood Spring Axle?
It's funny this car is labeled as Parnelli Jones as the driver. When he was driving the Hollywood Spring & Axle midget, he drove the 98 car, where AJ Foyt drove the 83 car. The owner, Marvin J. Edwards, is my grandfather who I lived nextdoor to.
You can always ask the Justice Brothers Museum people why, they own / display the car. Or did when I took that photo in 2012. Did you get to the races with your grandfather? Hopefully he was there to cheer on his team, and took you for fun
