Lee Marvin's Shelby convertible, that he gave to his gardener.

Lee Marvin reportedly drove his drop-top '68 Shelby GT 500KR on a regular basis for four years, but when it was time to move on to something new, the actor passed the keys to his long-time gardener, who was a bit less passionate about the car than his boss. The price of gas and its scarcity both proved challenging to muscle car owners during the 1973 fuel crisis, so the car sat, largely unused, in the gardener’s driveway. Rescued in 1986 by Mustang expert Drew Alcazar, it was found to be maxed out on options, every box ticked on the order sheet, and rotisserie restored. It was cared for until auctioned in Jan 2013 for $150,000
