a "closed 4" Hurst T-Handle was only available on the 69 GTO Judge

the significant design aspect that makes it a open or closed 4, is the top of the four.... and the 4 you just looked at in this sentence, twice, is a closed 4.

compare that to this open 4

By the way, this info is coming from a shifter handle collector... and WOW does he have an extensive collection

when you've got a hobby of collecting swap meet stuff on the cheap, I bet something like this costs about a hundred bucks, tops

loving this, and missing working with machine shop guys.

I have one Starrett product not in this display case... a steel ruler. Damn right I snapped that up at a swap meet. Might never use it, but after the zombiepocalypse, someone will find it and rebuild the world, perfectly square and measured exactly to the micron

By the way, I love displays of tools, and Starrett. I have a couple micrometers, a set of adjustable parallels, that steel ruler, a depth gauge, and a dial indicator

Whoa, Nick made a seriously thorough collection of gas station maps!

Just one example, and the top half is the front, and the bottom half the back

another example. Each map shows what that oil company made for that year, and the collection is for other map owners to be able to have one site to look at with a nearly complete collection so they can  date their maps accurately

"a photo map dating website for Oil Company Road Maps, so map collectors and sellers can date their maps as easily and accurately as possible. Also, new and experienced collectors will be able to see what is out there to collect"

hard to believe that someone had a 60 million dollar collection of motorcycles and art that they didn't legally isolate via money laundering, from illegal acts so the govt couldn't seize it...

62 "high-end" motorcycles believed to belong to Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder turned alleged drug kingpin, were seized this month by authorities in Mexico, the FBI confirmed on Monday

The 44-year-old Canadian national, who is on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, is wanted for allegedly running a transnational drug trafficking operation that ships cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California, to Canada

one hell of a big car collection

The American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne spans more than 120,000 square feet and houses over 400 vehicles from the personal collection of Mark Pieloch

The museum isn’t open to the public day to day, which is what makes its upcoming Space Coast Toy Drive and Car Show worth making the trip for.

For the event, the team is working alongside Vetted Ventures, a company that focuses on private sales and acquisitions across a range of industries. The goal this holiday season is pretty simple: bring people together around cars and do some good for the local community in the process.

The collection includes more than 50 Indianapolis 500 pace cars,
over 50 Shelby models, and one of the most extensive Yenko collections in the world,
with 29 cars representing every make and model ever produced.

Add in more than 50 Porsches, including a handful of Porsche-Diesel tractors
