something interesting going on with the blog's traffic, that I don't understand
Daily traffic is now around a half million hits a day, (up 5 times) from about 50k a day for the past year, and yet, comments haven't shown a similar increase in quantity
If the number of people visiting and looking it over are now 5 times as many, I'd think that comments would at least double, and that I'd see some from new people.
Same thing happened to "90 miles from tyranny" just before google shut him off last week. 90 miles appealed and got his blog reinstated. But be aware. Almost like some malicious DDOS attack.
thanks! I feel you're right, it's got to be some bot thing. Back on APril 23rd, the traffic hit 1.6 million on that day, for no known reason, and without a change in comments. On that one day, the traffic was about double the monthly amount of traffic. It's just odd
