I haven't seen a Shelby King Cobra in about 10 years, I didn't know there was more than one, and coincidentally, the last one I saw (#94) was also here at the 2012 LaJolla Concours

  1. As your previous post says, the blue car is a Cooper Monaco that was strengthened and modified to accept a 289 V8 in the early 1960s. The yellow car is a 1967 T-10 King Cobra that Shelby built for the Can-Am series. Only 2 cars were built, with aluminum 351 V8s, and the other one was crashed. Ford pulled their support for motorsports after the 1967 season, so the yellow car was sold.
