California government has hated cars since the 70s, hates leaded gas more, outlawed selling nitro decades ago (I think) and simple wants to outlaw selling cars here in 2035. Bizzare bunch of libtards that can't think about how to power electric cars, they simply imagine that there is enough electricity to go around, do everything, and aren't educated in how electricity is made, or how close to the edge the amount used is to the amount made is... same ignorance of how much the current infrastructure can handle, as it was built decades ago when there were no household computers, and no rechargeable phones, laptops, and earbuds, there were barely any airconditioners (they are now affordable) and barely any fans (compared to now when they are very inexpensive, and college size fridges weren't in every cube farm and garage, in addition to college dorms and military barracks. California has a hydroelectric problem too, with the various dams running out of water last summer, during the heat wave, when everyone needed to run Air Conditioning. But the idiots in the capitol say to buy electric cars... install home chargers for them. Yet aren't aware that the number of electric cars traveling on holidays like turkey day and Christmas from LA to San Fran (for example) exceed the number of chargers for Teslas - overwhelmingly. Until farmers, carpenters, hunters, teachers, plumbers and other construction types get elected, there simply won't be anyone with common sense to get govt to work for the country of citizens, instead of the current group who think they are there to make more laws, and get richer. Just my 2 cents. Oh, and not a single one of those 19 are anywhere in the 858 or 619 area codes where they'd be useful to me, who has a 11.5 to 1 compression max wedge 426
