and of the only 3 vehicles I saw, one is going to fill my desire to post a "what's under the car cover"
I barely spotted it
So I looked on Google Street View, where, sure enough, it was parked on the street once when the camera car came through
oh! They have a couple more!
No Deuce, they are 30-31 Model A’s with ‘32 grille shells.
ReplyDeletenice, thanks. I forgot to go back and change the words. The words I'm keeping are the "that grill is distinct".
DeleteWhen I wrote that I found a deuce, the only photo I had was the car, way up in the driveway, behind the gate. Hard to figure out what it is.
I came back to the post about a half hour later, after doing the 1960 Cadillac post, and with the new idea to use Google Street View, I then looked at this address is previous years versions of street view.
That's when I discovered that this home owner has a couple more hot rods.
That's when I added the good photos of the cars, and now, you're able to identify that the 32 grill is on a 31.
It's a slow and uncertain process, coming back and improving posts after they were completed a first time.
Unless I'm extra careful, sometimes the continuity of the words gets broken, when new discoveries are found.
