A 13-year-old was driving a his dad at 8:17 pm in a 2007 Dodge 2500 pickup, with a spare tire on the driver's side front, which blew out, causing the truck to cross the center line of a two-lane road, and collide with a van in West Texas in a fiery collision that killed nine people

A golf coach and six students, members of the University of the Southwest men's and women's golf teams were among those killed as they were returning home from a golf tournament

The crash came only months after their home burnt down, and there is a gofundme page https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-henry-and-aggie-get-back-on-their-feet  because of the house fire

The family of Henrich Siemens and his 13-year-old son, who was behind the wheel of the 2007 Dodge 2500 pickup truck involved in the accident, previously suffered the loss of their home

the Daily Mail, a British tabloid that digs into news, reports, the house burned down because meth was being cooked inside on Oct 24th 2021

Heinrich, a father-of-five, was facing two criminal charges that could have landed him in prison because of his previous criminal history at the time of his death and already had a laundry list of criminal charges and convictions stemming back as far as 2004

that poor kid never stood a chance in this world, fuck. That's sad

  1. Now the truth comes out. We learned of this in the news but no explanation. What a careless 38-year-old who let a 13-year-old drive the pick up which resulted in all these lives lost. Tears.

  2. Not all that common these days, but when I came to Texas in 85 I saw many kids under 14 driving trucks in the farm county areas.

    1. ok. No argument with that. But this had a 38 year old guy passenger. No explanation offered. I suspect the kid was driving his drunk dad home, as the news stated that the crash was in the dark.

  3. The boy had also recently burned the family's house down when he forgot he was cooking, leaving the family homeless. I'm pretty sure I read the passenger was his dad.

    1. oh no, burned the house down, accidentally, then died from not being able to have good tires on a truck he shouldn't be driving. There was not a moment of getting a break in life for that poor kid.
