I remember these from childhood, and always thought they were just about the ugliest thing to come along until I saw a '57 Plymouth, which was dwarfed by later Chrysler cars. But I had a special hatred of the Studebaker and Hudson finny Hawks, because I thought the Loewy design for the '53 Stude, on which they were based, was one of the best looking cars ever. Still do. What a travesty to put those fins and snout on it!
