  1. I had a friend long ago who worked at the Seaman Body Division of the Nash-Kelvinator Corp. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The plant made auto bodies for Nash/AMC products, and trucked them to the Kenosha plant where drive trains, interiors, etc. were installed. Chuck always had a fresh story to tell about unauthorized, improvised assembly techniques occasionally used to keep up with the assembly line. The picture brings my friend to mind.

  2. Somewhere in 1952 to 1954, some poor bloke drove out of the Ford dealership in his puntured-together Mainline two-door sedan.
