license plates belong on the bumper, not the dashboard



if the lightning had some other reason for striking down from a mile away, to hit exactly where the license plate was located on the dash, it isn't likely that we'll know what that is

    the center of the windshield behind the mirror also usually has a lot of the electronic stuff and some have the radio antenna in the windshield.

    the energy contained in lightning is really hard to comprehend.
