artist John Sarkisyan's classic 300SL with modern features created by wrapping a newer Mercedes with a classic body, made from fiberglass

below is one that he had at SEMA 2018

That body you’re looking at it made of fiberglass. Sarkisyan used a friend’s real Gullwing to make molds and then create this amazing clone.

    1. Yes... but I've often found that something I've posted that I expected might get a lot of response has zero response

  2. Well, it not that I'm referring to zero response Jesse, although there definitely does need to be response to a lot of your post as they are so interesting, insightful and fun. Actually, I typed a comment in here yesterday and when I hit "Publish", it came back with an error message and a system broke message. That's never happened to me before.

What I had wrote was, "Where's the money coming from?" When I look at these beautifully done customs by Sarkisyan, and I look at him. I think to myself something isn't right. Where's he getting his money to do these incredible builds?

To me, mind you this is just me speaking here, he doesn't seem to be a Barris, Starbird, Hines or Grabowski. Or Winfield, Alexander Brothers or Roth. Where is the money coming from?

    1. Oh, well, computers. They don't work right all the time.
As for this guy, I have no idea. I didn't bother researching enough to get that info. It took long enough to find the maker of the top photo, as that was all that I came across, at first
