I guy in the small town near where I grew up had a pickup like this, always parked with the tailfins sticking out for everyone to see. It always reminded me of a car I'd ride on a merry go round.
I remember as a kid seeing one of these where I lived in Connecticut, a couple of years old, and just like the cars, it rusted out awfully almost as soon as it left the showroom, and looked far worse than any comparable aged truck. I always thought what a bizarre waste of money.
Dodge built these to compete with Chev's Cameo truck model.
