these are some of the ones that stand out in my memory as being favorites.
There are more that I didn't have time to go through, like the best of 2008, 09, 10, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
I don't know for sure when I learned how to change the banner, but I know I kept the same one for a long time, and after that, I didn't make banners as often as I do now.
So, when I get more time, I'll look through the others, and post them separately.

G'day Jesse,and happy New year from Down Under...where it's a little hot at the moment. Have been a devotee of your passion for a lot of years now and even posted a couple of your pics in our Volks Enthusiasts Club of South Australia magazine. I just want to say a couple of things. First,my favourite in your favs. has to be the '63 Beetle with trailer in tow;Antarctica 1,I think. Still the only production car to do that job! and backed up for another couple years. Also won it's class at the Bathurst 500mile race that year.Not the same car. However,the very same car went on to win the Reliability/mileage trial over thousands of miles very soon after.Not bad for the humble little beetle that most disparaged very quickly.I also love the Warbirds etc. and your recent rerun of the "hard men" in the snow really grabs me!Ooh...the days when men were men,and women were glad of it!

That Beetle at the South Pole... what an amazing story! I don't recall hearing that it went on to win the reliability trial! Whoa! Thanks for the info!
