before 1969 head rests weren't required safety equipment on cars, and the Warshawsky catalog filled the need for a supply of headrests that slipped down over the front seat backs
I bought a set of those for my '61 Lancer I'd put a 340 in. I also bought and applied the spray on window tint that looked good until you put the window down, then up. Goddam head rests kept falling off the seat. Worthless.

ReplyDeleteWell, we were all young once! At least you tried to improve the car!
DeleteI had a pair of the custom contoured head rest, but never had a car that need it them. They finally went to scrap. Maybe for that better?
