a good way of looking at it. Not completely accurate for me, but, a good way to pass along why some stuff I like, and post, doesn't appeal to most people
You are honest, you put lots of interesting stuff. Some will like it, some will not. I found here something to laugh, something to be surprised and something to wonder WTF. Sometimes all in one day. So keep up the good work and I can be that one person who say, thank you, I really needed that smile on my face today.
Thanks! I think most people forget that this is a blog, a daily diary, and not an online magazine by some company that looks to make money by pleasing readers. Then they get shocked when I step out of the norm, out of the day to day cool cars, photos, and art, and rant about something I'm angry with. I'd rather have nothing but fun, little brain candy pieces that please and delight. But I don't live a life that can avoid the upsets of real life, the things that get me angry. I'm not on a warm tropical island with cold drinks and fun scooters and happy tourists blowing fortunes for pleasure day and night. I'm broke, I've got bills, a job, nothing much to look forward to unless I am ready to go against the river, and work hard to try - just try - for something better. Or I can hang out here in the pool of rest and relax that I've achieved, out of the flow of stress and anxiety, waste my time blogging, watching movies, and sleeping in on weekends. I don't have anything to compete for, or with, for this moment in life. And somedays, I'm pretty damn happy with how the days posts turn out and I look them over before shutting down, and think, that turned out pretty damn well. Other days, not so much. But, it's just a blog. A side hustle I get to point at and say, look what I did, you oughta hire me, and put all that to work for you - make me a better paycheck, and get sent to the car events I've been wanting to see - like Goodwood, Essen, TROG, museums, races, etc.
