I've never seen so many Woodies located in the same area in a vintage photo... and the photographer was the FSA icon, Jack Delano. What he was doing in Puerto Rico? No idea

Steve also mentioned that Delano fell in love with the island and after a stint in the Air Corps ('43 - '46) he moved there permanently.

    Delano also spent time in 1941 in the US Virgin Islands, his collection of VI photos at the Library of Congress website is extensive
