1928 back before hydraulic lifts were affordable, it looks like the most common and cheap way of working under the car was hoisting the front way up (Rotary pioneered lifts about 90 years ago)
I wonder why no one made one of those cool rocking ramps way back then...
I have two of those sitting here on our used car lot we use the to display our cars on the front line Jesse , doesn't the car dealer you work for have those ?
No, we have a ramp or two... well, we did. After the first ever make over in 50 years of business they took away the ramps. But, they were these cool rocking drive on ramp lift. I want one of these... might never use it, but you can always keep your car from getting stolen by parking it on top of a lift, and locking the lift in the raised position
Clever idea but it certainly takes up a lot of floor space.
