The SS by Chevrolet is a rebadged Holden, like the Pontiac G8. They shut down that plant, and that killed the SS.
It's a 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and the quarter mile in 13.2 seconds at 108.9 mph.
Why it's a 4 door I can only guess is because it's Australian, and Chevy already has a Camaro, but wasn't going to call it anything from the muscle car classic names that were all 2 doors because they saw what a stupid idea it was to call that recent Australian car a GTO, and they saw what stupidity was doled out to call the 4 door mopar a Charger, and the truck a Daytona.
So, they called it an SS, better that than a Chevelle.
So, if you like those numbers, get one while they can still be bought on the dealership lots, because, they won't be there much longer, the 2018 cars are coming along and all 2017 models will get marked down.
