show off the metalwork by only painting half the car

This half-and-half 1971 440-6 ’Cuda owned by Darryl Wischnewsky received a lot of attention in the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show at the Apex booth.

Carefully fitted on one side as complete and done on the other side to show metal working finishes, the car was centered in their booth and was one of a number of cars on display this year from major shops that were shown in “ongoing” mode

  1. My dad did a similar thing with a cane chair he found on the side of the road, which was coated in white paint and had no cane seat. He kept the white paint on one side, and then sanded and lacquered the other side, and put the cane for the seat on just that side as well.
