I've owned several Parisiennes, a '64, a '65, and a 1980. They were basically top of the line full sized Pontiacs, similar to the American Bonnevilles, but with Chevy Impala / Caprice powertrains. The Parisiennes sold quite well in Canada as they were priced fairly close to their Chevy cousins yet their trim and upholstery was always a notch better.
When I was a kid I thought the Pontiac Parisienne was a cool sounding name.
