Chrysler took them to court over the name, the Tractor company won, then practically gave the "Plymouth" name to Chrysler (selling the name to them for $1), and changed their tractor name to Silver King.
oh... I just posted about Porsche getting sideways of Ford for using the name Continental... I thought that sort of prompted this similar issue of Plymouth cars and tractors. Cool info though, it's gotta be hard to get into business and not get sued for something, no matter if trivial or important
