    1. I saw that detail in the article... but c'mon, that's something the owner WILL figure out somehow. No one gets to the point of making a radial engine fit in a truck without being able to get past the transmission issue

  2. rotate the diff 90º so the u-joint is on the bottom, replace the u-joint with a pulley. mount another pulley on the engine shaft and run a very large belt from front to back.....what could go wrong?

    1. or dual chains... they have been proven on bikes and cars for decades of speeds up to 100 mph

  3. How is he going to keep it cool? Those engines are designed to run out in the wide open and they usually have a big fan blade in front of them.

  4. I personally would have mounted it same as a plane. Transfer case down to your trans, and you're good to go. Can you imagine a couple of cylinders sticking out of the hood? Anyway, it's way cool. Have you seen the bikes with the same engine in them? I cannot even imagine trying to ride one.

  5. How about a hydraulic pump directly connected to the crankshaft, then two or four hydraulic motors at the wheels via a modulator or 'throttle'?
