the route for the first transcontinental highway were made Oct 31st, 1913
for the Centennial tour, about 140 cars, mostly Ford Model T and Model As drove in from the East Coast end at Time Square New York, and Lincoln Park San Francisco

That stone bridge with "Lincoln Highway" spelt out is very unusual.
