  1. This looks great. I love how you can see these things that seemed like auto wreckers and then They are just awesome.

  2. Beautiful. I'm working on a 1929 model AA woodie school bus. We're building the body from the frame up and have only a photo of the drivers side. Wayne body I hear from the other fellows but have no idea how they came to that conclusion with no body. It had been converted to several other uses including wrecker. Runs and drives but a milk crate on a sheet of plywood for a seat. Would love to see the other side as were conflicted on the door.

    1. wow, I hope you'll send me photos when it's completed so I can share them with everyone! This one I phtographed a couple years ago is at the Motor Transport Museum, and you might find photos of it if you search google images for that museum. But because they are big pain in the asses, you might not get much. Worse case scenario, you can let me know that you have found nothing better, and no other museums with a 29 AA Bus body to work from, and I'll go back and get more photos. I'll do that for lots of photos of your completed bus! But check out the other early school bus posts I've done, there may be better photos on my site already http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/School%20bus

  3. Just got a 1930 Model A Ford short school bus. Would appreciate someone with knowledge on these vehicles to tell me the type of wood used in the bodies. Thanks.
