Above, I can see the word Bellisimo! The next word, is the signature of Valentino Balboni, the Lamborghini test driver for decades. A legend in his own lifetime.
Above, it struck me as interesting that the rim is so very black and white, it has no colors but the manufacturers sticker, and looks like a photoshop trick, but it's not. I also wanted to point out that Campagnalo made the rims for the DeThomaso Pantera, and I've no idea how many other cool cars, but I recognized the name from bicycle parts on 10 speeds
The thing written on the back of the car is "Bellissima! Valentino" i guess.
ReplyDeleteI must be getting old because it took awhile to figure out the signature on the Miura. I knew it wasn't one of the designers or engineers so I figured it must be someone associated with the car. Shelby use to sign many cars and glove boxes for his charity. I went out to the garage to see a few autographed pics and I knew it wasn't Gandini and came across a picture of Valentini Balboni who was their test drivr for many years. The signature looks the same. You can actually read the V on this car! The t and the end of the signature is identical on the car and on my signed pic. TopoftheLine

Look at the perfect bodywork of this Miura S! Goodness, it looks surreal! I haven’t really seen any of those personally, but I’ve heard so many awesome things about this model. Perhaps, my next target is to go to a car show that features Lamborghinis.
