Who gets am automatic? Lots of people, considering that the C6 Cruise-O-Matic could turn any Yahoo into a major problem for a guy in a SS396 or 440 Roadrunner with a manual. My dad had a 428 CJ ram air car with an automatic. It was a very respectable machine.
ReplyDeleteLots of people is statistically correct. The rest is baloney. a 428 CJ with an automatic, for example, is not very respectable. Quite the opposite, and the C6 didn't create the problem, the yahoos behind the wheels of ANYTHING were problems, and a Road Runner with a 440 and a couple minutes to put on headers, time it proper, and add some sticky tires like Bucrons didn't have to worry about how far a Mustang fell behind
