I've never seen this gas cap before... is it the normal one for a Demon? I don't know, it wasn't on mine

I think the gas cap is from a Series III Jaguar XJ6 (1978-'87 in US market). Possibly earlier XJ6s, and possibly other models too. Great blog -- love your photos!
