I'm wondering, has anyone ever made a list of all the cars that Ford/Mercury made with the GT trim line?

Comet GT

Cougar GT-E

Fairlane GT

Mustang GT

Cyclone GT

Montego GT

Torino GT

Ranchero GT

GT 40

are there more in the 1964-74 FoMoCo vehicles?

he was a featured artist at the Petrolicious gallery http://www.camilopardo.com/petrolicious-la

Born in New York city, Camilo moved to Detroit at the age of 10 and had by that age developed a fascination with 60s and 70s era sports cars and modern art.

After graduating from Detroit’s prestigious design school Center for Creative Studies in 1985, Camilo was hired by Ford Design Center in Dearborn Michigan.

His assignments included working in the Dearborn Advanced Studios, Ford of Europe- Torino, Italy Studio , and the Design Studios in Cologne Germany.

After 15 years at Ford Motor Company, he took on a state of the art re-design of the classic Ford GT race car.

This project developed the 2002 Ford GT concept car. As chief Designer of the Ford GT and the SVT Studio, Camilo’s team worked on the 2005 and 2006 production Ford GT. The GT became an instant success capturing the interest of car enthusiasts around the world.

another one he did that you oughta see.

The new 1.2 million dollar Ford GT has some crazy numbers

New aerodynamics enable the GT Mk 2 to generate over 400 percent more downforce than the Ford GT while fixed aerodynamic elements along with its race-proven suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport racing tires enable the car to pull more than 2Gs of lateral grip.

GT Mk II is also lighter, losing 200 pounds while the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that powers both the Ford GT race car and the road car is able to generate 200 horsepower more, making the Mk II the most powerful version of the Ford GT.

around 293 mph on the Texas Mile, the 2006 Ford GT from M2K Motorsports

Back in 2011, the Twin Turbo/Supercharged 2006 GT ran in the mid 220’s

In March of 2012, the Texas Mile record was 255 mph, but the GT ran 257.7mph and took the Texas Mile Record.

In October 2012, it bettered the record and ran 263.3 mph.

In March of 2013, it went faster and hit 267.6mph, but came back in October of 2013 and ran what stood for a couple of years at the speed of 278.8mph.

At the higher speeds (260+), Patrick, the driver of the GT, commented that on the 4-5 shift the car would get a bit upset. This was due to the nose dropping and lifting again when he got back on the power. With the shock data from the Motec and the help of Scott Ahlman, they figured out that the suspension was bottomed out from the down force and that was causing the issue.

a very cool souvenir is part of ordering the $400,000 Ford GT, the options brochure is now replaced with this cool ordering kit

Everything is pre-packaged in a box made out of carbon fiber – and it even gets a latch identical to the one found on the Ford GT race car. The interior reveals a choice of eight exterior color options, a plethora of interchangeable stripes, and even replica wheels at a smaller scale. It’s something for the owner to feel connected to – instead of using the online configurator, says Ford – and we agree. Buyers can do things such as play mix and match with the colors and stripes, feel the high-quality materials like leather and Alcantara, and see the vehicle paired to wheels and caliper colors.

“The Ford GT ordering kit is a critical piece in the purchase process,” said Henry Ford III, global marketing manager, Ford Performance. “This high-quality kit is a hands-on tool for Ford GT customers to enhance their ordering experience.”

Symbolic motors has a 2006 Ford GT just fresh from the factory, it's one of the rare few locked away after delivery for investment

This is particular FORD GT was completed in May of 2006. It was ordered and delivered new with all four available option packages; Premium McIntosh Audio System, BBS Forged Alloy Wheels, Colored Keyed Brake Calipers and the Full Length Body Stripes It has resided in in single-owner, private museum collection since it was purchased with no actual on-road use. It remains with only the original test and delivery mileage totaling just 41 miles. It still has all of the delivery plastic and coverings from the Ford regional distributor as it arrived new.
