Luftgekühlt 10, a car show for air-cooled Porsche automobiles, took place on the Universal Studios back lot.


This guy was dressed in period correct duds that were color-matched to his car, right down to the amber lenses that mimicked those on his 914-6, maybe in the style of the Goodwood Revival.


The International Race of Champions ran Porsche Carrera RSRs in its inaugural year of 1974. Mark Donohue was the champion after winning the fourth and final race that year


Renee Brinkerhoff rallied a 356 on all seven continents. It culminated with the Antarctic Ice Challenge

the almost unknown but incredibly facinating, J A Cooley car museum in San Diego, at Park Ave and El Cajon St.

Within the car museum are also huge collections of other things, Edison phonographs, WW2 bond posters, spitoons, cuckoo clocks, model trains, really old cameras, car lamps, and more. Only 5 dollars to get in, and Jim is there to give you all the background you'd like, he's just a great guy!
