a hard core 60's custom car goofball, who is wonderfully atomic punk, did a video tour of his garage and collection of crazy neat stuff - including a Turbonique go cart replica of Capt Jacks rocket cart, and replicas of a couple Zingers
crazy good collection of car waxes
and one cool display of old gauges
Speed shop display so the comparison can be felt between the different Hurst shifters
Thanks Marc!

the Zingers were at the Autorama
The six Zingers on display last weekend are owned by two different groups. Half of the cars belong to Championship Auto Shows (Bob Larivee owns the yellow bug, the red Vette and the Semi)) and the other 3 belong to a New Jersey car club called Dead Man’s Curve.

all photos were taken by a really good photographer I haven't learned of until now, Michael Switzer @switzdesign4u https://twitter.com/switzdesign4u https://www.switzerdesign.com/
the van and semi have looked a bit better, and different, in the past
and I've previously posted all the publicity photos and advertising they've been in: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/Zingers

2 zingers are at SEMA, and Bob Larivee Sr... probably the father of the modern car show, hot rod show legend regardless
what are Zingers, Mose asked... These are the Zingers!, the "hairiest, scariest fistfuls of muscle yet," according to the ads for the line of MPC plastic models introduced in 1971. In the days when wild show cars reigned, legendary promoter Bob Larivee Sr. drew crowds by commissioning full-scale versions of top-selling toys. http://www.hotrod.com/thehistoryof/113_0409_1971_zingers_toys/
that is Bob in the green shirt. I got to thank him for bringing and creating the Zingers
for the Bio on hall of famer Bob Larivee: http://www.semahof.com/Bob_Larivee%20Sr._2012_Inductee
Bob still owns these two and the semi truck
